Can a painter finish a room in a day
Planning · 4 min read

A clean bedroom — walls only, furniture pulled, two coats — often fits in a day. Add a ceiling, six-panel doors, and a lot of tape, and it doesn’t.
What usually fits
One average bedroom, walls, two coats, eggshell or satin, furniture moved or grouped. Closet walls if they’re simple.
A small bathroom, walls only, if the caulk and patches are minor.
What usually doesn’t
Kitchen cabinets. That’s days, not hours, if you want a finish that isn’t sticky in August.
A whole house interior. Anyone who quotes that as one day is skipping coats or skipping trim.
Exterior siding. Weather, ladders, and scrape work blow up a clock.
How we book it
Tell us the rooms and send photos. If it fits a day, we’ll say so. If it doesn’t, we’ll split it instead of rushing the last wall at 7 p.m.
